A very strange sighting today. A green parakeet in the parking lot where I work. And just now, as I type, two green parakeets flew up and are acting territorial with the smaller, local birds on an electric wire.

Initially I saw a lone parakeet on this wire chirping its unique sounds, something I noticed because it was not the usual bird noise... I felt bad because I thought, maybe he belongs to the pet store down the street and is in distress. After gazing at him for a while he flew away.

Now, as I reflect on its meaning, there are two parakeets loving each other and warding off the different species. They aren't being very nice, and their feathers look stressed.

These birds are beautifully green... What an interesting sound...

And a unique sighting for sure.
