....
Since the foods one eats contains the building material of the body, and the condition of the body influences the disposition to a great extent, it stands to reason that the mind should take command and use discrimination in the selection of food.
....So it takes study of foods and study of your needs, in order to select your food properly.

Thanks Steve for reminding about this lesson which is a pillar of the metaphysics of food.

The mind MUST take command, and ignore the likes and dislikes. The mind must govern and rule the body that it eat only the healthy foods. It must be said that I exercise discrimination and like the healthy foods I eat whereas I dislike unhealthy foods, by the sheer fact that they are unhealthy. For example, I cannot eat ice cream or regular cakes or sweets now. They taste horrible because they are junk food.

Study of food: is what I'm doing now. There are so many opinions about food, but discrimination can and must guide us together with self experimentation. Modern metabolic science has given to us the power to tweak some main switches in the body by simple dietary intervention.
