Being in the presence of a Master can have some of the qualities of surrealistic experience since to some extent you recognize that there is something that does not make material sense about a Master. As an example; I was around Amma all day yesterday. But to watch her hug literally thousands of people and retain a smile and joyous nature just isn’t something you see in physical reality. I mean; who can be hugging one person after another from 11:00 in the morning till after 8:00 p.m. at nite and not look somewhat haggard from the experience? But as she leaves the hall she looks as cheerful as when she has entered. There is something about her presence that just makes everyone happy and willing to serve what she represents. At the sametime there is this feeling that you are being exposed to something awesome that really you have no grasp of in understanding.

To some extent I have met people in my life who seem to have a rather surrealistic affect on me. Perhaps it is because they have one foot in this dimension and another foot in another one.
