The question of this thread is titled, "What is Truth"

And boy was it nauseating trying to read through this stuff. Same kind of crap took place on this portal back in 2017. I am ashamed I ever humored it any further.

But this is a Satsang, and the question in particular is on TRUTH. What is it?

I have come to the conclusion that everyone has an opinion. More than one, and everyone has enough opinions for more than themselves.

I'm really starting to understand... "Truth is that which can not be spoken."

From Urdu poet Zahir, "'He who attaineth best the peace of God, his very self must lose."

What I'm feeling, more and more, as I explore different religious scriptures and interact with people of various belief and ideologies... Is more contained within myself. It can feel like a great burden, actually. It can be truly disappointing. For example. I may discover something like the Shroud of Torin- and in my excitement I may share it with a self identified Christian- only for that Christian to tell me what I am sharing is a production of the devil.

Or I may come to know God in a particular way, and no one outside myself can understand or come close to acknowledging this special experience with which I attempt to relay. Hazrat Inayat Khan says, " The all-important work in life is the attainment of God. God cannot be explained. Any attempt to do this always ends in failure."

This is why it can be maddening. We are so assured by our experiences. By following our Heart. And our Heart is not wrong, it is not wrong to be made wrong. Even if our Heart leads us to a disappointing reality, it was right in that it was a necessary part of our soul journey. I truly believe that.

So, more and more, we have everyone living life according to their own idea. Everyone following their own Heart. And when others try to share from their Heart, just look at what happens. Look at this thread to see for your self. We have ideas about God, about religion, about politics, about world views, about gender, about climate and population. And everyone is so convinced in their own belief. And it seems there is always something out there ready to affirm, while at the same time always something out there ready to challenge.

Maybe this is just the way of Duality.

Tonight I am beginning to understand that, as great as some of my experiences are- I can not share them with just anyone. "Don't throw your pearls before Swine." I do not say this to belittle people as Swine- I say this to say, not everyone is going to understand the wisdom God graces us with. And so, everything we are doing is a personal experience between this illusory notion of self and the ultimate reality that is God.

And it would appear God wants it this way. Variety is the spice of life eh? I learned that line from Steve. But we don't like not being able to share, we don't like others telling us we're wrong. We don't like others telling us how to live and experience life. Be you traditional or radical.

So, more and more, I come to understand this idea of renunciation. Because Truth can not be articulated. It can be experienced. It can be shared, but not by quoting news sources that affirm our notion of reality. Not by debating others over ideological differences. It is shared when we choose to help someone take out the trash after they've been complaining about being on their feet all day. It is shared when we offer someone a cup of water on a hot summer day. An act of kindness is far greater than attempting to relay our understanding of reality.

It is the act itself that is the truth.

But we fight this idea of renunciation. Because we are born as an individualized free expression of the Creator! We say, no- I do not have to agree with ANYTHING. This is MY LIFE, and I will experience it MY WAY. But the more we fight, the more we realize what is *not truth* And the more we do, the more we experience truth. There are uniting principles guiding this Universe. We may not be able to articulate them without deviating- because everything born of this level- 3D has its opposite. But we may be able to experience them, and together- by way of action, a mutual Knowing can fill our Hearts with a peace far superior than whatever words we use to try and describe it.

My friend Casey Claar says...

"Although most people we are not able to share with in the way we may like, we are able to share up to a point. It is both our job and our joy to discover this point and go no further -against their will -pushing our own upon them. <-- growing to have no will to do this will begin to feel good, great compassion is born from this. A love that has no bounds. I know that it also holds a sadness. It is a cross to bear in life."
