Encourage people with positive speech. Our words can lift or pull down others; give hope or discourage. P.Y. said practice kindness in speech. Out of the abundance of our heart comes kindness in speech. The way to encourage others is by kindness and encouragement in speech. We have to fight the tendency to criticize and b critical about others. Recognize the 20 to 30 percent that people do right and they will improve.
Recognize where people r and not where u think they should b.

Hurtful statements however accurate r better left unsaid. Sometimes we do not know what to say when someone attacks us.  It is  better to clear the air and not just let it set there for 10 years. If we push down our anger inside; If we hold on to our negative feelings towards others, it will come out in our speech. It creates negative karmic situations.  Can we talk and understand what happened?
