Hi namaste!
I feel blessed to know about your experience of shiva. Shiva and shakti is considered as two powers in universe
and that work in combination. Lahiri mahasaya lived in varanasi which is considered lord shiva's town. there is famous Vishwanatha
temple(another name of shiva literal meaning lord of all worlds) in varanasi. He also worshiped shiva.
